Karen,

I noticed a blog you posted about your books in connection with a visit you had in Humboldt County....are you related to Peter Ryce?

You have some lovely sentiments here and I wish I could feel like they would be of help to me..but under my circumstances there is no possible way. My daughter needs help and everyone up there are hell bent, bound and determined to protect her mother so my daughter is going down the tubes. She is 13....dating an 18 year old (she thinks she is hiding it well but isn't) she lies to me about everything even though she knows it was her mother that cut off contact with me. You can read my blog for the full story. I have just recently discovered that my daughter was held back in school, yet the school records that I have do not reflect this. She only atteneded school a total of 30 days from 1st through 4th grade and still does not attend as much as she should. Her an her mother lied to me about this the whole time...and still do.

Thanks so much. I intend to go into complete detail. Maybe not today. I have so much to do...but maybe. If you want more detail you can go to my websites. I've now added links to my sidebar. The teen site has the most information, but the parentchildteacher site has an interview you can listen to that covers many points and a free mini-course you can sign up for.

Please feel free to send this information on to anyone you think might like to know of this.

If you participate in any other social sites and would like to bookmark it or share it in other ways, that would be awesome.

What a lovely post, I wish you would enter into more detail in the future, because this is a message that needs to be heard by all parents.
